Data & privacy

What this site collects, and why

A short, honest account, not a legal document padded to look thorough — one of this site’s own editorial principles is to show artifacts, not assertions, and that applies to how it treats your data too.

What’s collected

Two independent flows, kept deliberately separate:

  • Syllabus enrolment — name, email, organisation, and role, used to run the 40-day course: tracking your progress, sending the daily lesson emails, and issuing the certificate at the end.
  • Research List — just an email address, added to its own audience so it never mixes with syllabus enrolment or receives course emails.

The Newsletter link in the footer goes to a Beehiiv-hosted page outside this site; that signup is covered by Beehiiv’s own privacy terms, not this one.

Who processes it

Turso stores enrolment and Research List records. Resend delivers every email this site sends. Vercel Analytics runs on every page for aggregate traffic counts — it doesn’t use cookies or store anything that identifies you individually.

What’s never done

Your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything beyond running this course and this list.

Your control over it

Every lesson email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the emails immediately but keeps your progress and certificate intact — it is a mailing preference, not a deletion. To have your enrolment or Research List record deleted outright, email allansendagi@gmail.com.

Who can see it

Enrolment records are never published. They’re visible only through an access-controlled internal view, gated by a key that isn’t exposed anywhere on this site.

Scope

This is a one-person research initiative, not a company with a compliance department. This page is meant to be accurate and complete for what actually happens, not exhaustive legal boilerplate for what might. If anything here is unclear, that email address reaches an actual person.
